Our Team

The mission of 407 Associates is to design, build, develop, finance and manage real estate projects throughout the Continental United States.

We enable our mission while building a wholly-owned and managed family of companies that create a synergy to enable us to develop the most efficient and cost effective “one point” of contact design/build/manage system. We will incubate, mentor and enable the next generation of real estate builders, developers and contractors by having created an interactive environment to share the turn-key process across all of our companies. This sharing of “the process” enables  an idea to not  be buried in a specific discipline but to be discussed and nurtured across the whole realm of real estate professionals, thus creating the best possible project at the best possible price.

Team

Each principal of 407 Associates has over 30 years of experience in his or her particular field or fields of expertise that ties into the development, construction, operation, financing, ownership and operation/management of commercial and residential real estate projects. Our team consists of engineers, designers, architects, developers, builders, real estate attorneys and property managers. The 407 Associates’ team’s experience is deeply routed in the design and construction of major commercial/residential properties, with extensive completed projects in the senior care, faith community, hospitality, food service, retail shopping center and industrial sectors.

Jeff Kozero, PE
Founder and CEO

Jeff graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with an engineering degree and is a licensed Professional Engineer. Over the course of his career, Jeff  has started and grown an architectural/engineering firm from a local DMV presence to a National Footprint. In addition, Jeff has started and managed various real estate development companies that have provided development, design and construction related services. These projects resulted in over 12 million constructed square feet and valued at over $2.9Billion. Jeff has now created 407 Associates to become a complete design/development/management company.

Joseph A. Boggs, FAIA, NCARB
Director of Professional Services

Joe is an undergraduate of Virginia Tech and has a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. The diversity of his work has been the subject of lectures at several universities as well as being the G.T. Ward visiting professor at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University. Mr. Boggs is a frequent presenter at AlA Symposiums and community functions. He has won numerous awards and has been published in national and international publications, as well as being elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects in 1995. The firm’s work has been the recipient of numerous architectural design awards. Mr. Boggs was a presenter at the 2016 AIA Convention in Philadelphia on an International Practice workshop.  His work was recently published in. ‘Honor’, a hardcover book commemorating and documenting the Uriah P. Levy Center and Jewish Chapel.

Karl Griffin
Director of Design

Karl A. Griffin has over 10 years of experience in the architecture and design industry. With a passion for creativity and a strong eye for detail, Karl has successfully led numerous design projects, ranging from residential to commercial buildings, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and functionality. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from The University of the District of Columbia and has continued to expand his knowledge and skills through various professional development programs and workshops. He is a member of several professional organizations, including AIA, NCARB and NOMA. Karl is dedicated to helping the company achieve its vision of becoming the leading provider of innovative and sustainable design solutions.

Dan Morrison
Director of Construction Services

Dan Morrison has been working in the construction industry in the DC, MD, PA, VA (DMV) area since graduating from high school. In 2000, Dan started a very successful Home Building company, serving the DMV area. During the global economic meltdown in 2008, Dan changed course and started successful Home Inspection and Construction Management companies. In 2019, Dan started a successful Underground Utility Installation company working with clients such as the National Institutes of Health, BGE, and many developers. In 2022, Dan brought his company to 407 Associates, taking advantage of the synergies provided by the 407 development, design, and construction companies.

Dana Lecompte
President of Main Street Glazing Glass Company

Dana LeCompte is an accomplished project management professional with over 40 years’ experience in estimating and project supervision. He started his career in 1979 with Robert L Walsh where he worked as a supervisor with a staff strength of over 25 employees per site. In 1996 Dana began his own company named ‘Monumental Glass’. Monumental Glass catered to scheduling, estimating, material procurement, installation, and site supervision of windows and glass. He did not limit his expertise to just his own company, he extended his tentacles across other organizations as a certified project manager. He worked with reputable companies such as GAMA, MGA, Accent Metal Services, Revolution Windows System, and many other organizations between the years 2003 and 2022 before joining MainStreet 407 Glazing. He has brought over four decades of extensive experience and expertise in the glass industry to our company. These achievements have earned him the position of President of MainStreet 407 Glazing.

Brenda Duckett
Controller

Brenda Duckett has vast experience in the Finance and Managerial Sector. Brenda started her career as a Mortgage Customer Service personnel with Equifax, rising quickly to supervisor within 6 months of her assumption of duty and exiting the company as VP of Operations. She was the CEO of two startup companies, serving contractors and small businesses with office administration, accounting service, and permit processing.  Brenda has been a manager for the past 33 years, outlining her success as the Director of Finance and overseeing the Administrative offices for 407 Associates, LLC. She can be described as the engine room of our organization.

Jamilett Contreras
Project Manager

Jamillet Contreras is one of our most talented Project Managers specializing in residential house design. Her creative thinking and attention to detail plays a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of projects from start to finish. Jamillet’s versatility and dedication are evident in her commitment to continuous learning. She actively seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge of emerging architectural trends, construction techniques, and sustainable design practices.. Her ability to navigate complex tasks and prioritize goals allows her to deliver exceptional results within strict timelines.

Mona Malik
President of Sales and Marketing for 407 Remodeling

A graduate of Neumann University with a degree in Organizational Leadership and minor in Accounting.

Before coming to 407 Ms Malik was the CEO of a design/build  construction startup in Pennsylvania taking the company from its inception to profitable enterprise in less than a year. Since coming to 407 which she has been for over 8 years now she has brought in work and projects totaling millions. She is very driven and competent in marketing and bringing new projects to our firm and can handle any project any size.

Robert Vricella
Board of Advisors

Robert Vricella recently joined the 407 Associates team in 2020 as a member of the Board. Rob is a independent Real Estate professional in the Washington D.C. suburbs. For the past 15 years, he has developed and invested in a diverse portfolio of properties. Prior to becoming independent, he was in charge of real estate acquisitions for Toll Brothers for southern Maryland. Rob brings a wealth of real estate knowledge to the 407 Associates team.

Camile Case
Board of Advisors

Camile Case, Penn State Graduate, Developer and Managing Partner of Inclusive Properties, is a licensed MLO in several states and has purchased, renovated, rented, and sold properties nationwide and internationally. CEO of Inclusive Properties, specializing in investment property financing, has provided her access to a wealth of resources in addition to a growing database of international buyers, sellers, and investors. Overall, Camile has been involved with over $3 billion of real estate investment, management, development, and financing in her career to date.
